The Aquaculture Certificate for Waters and Tidal Flats is an administrative license certificate issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in accordance with the law for aquaculture activities conducted in natural or artificial waters, tidal flats and other relevant areas. It verifies that the site selection, overall layout, supporting facilities and management systems of the aquaculture project meet the national fishery administration standards, aiming to standardize aquaculture activities and mitigate ecological and environmental risks. Engaging in relevant aquaculture activities without obtaining such a certificate or failing to meet the prescribed conditions is prohibited.
