Testing of Prototype Coronary Stent

Test data from stent prototype testing. Photos/videos of stents during testing and Excel data files with recorded measurements are included. Stent prototypes that expand to different diameters were tested. The tests were conducted by crimping the stent onto a balloon then expanding. Photos and videos are taken before, during, and after to enable measurements. Original measurements were conducted using ImageJ software. Elastic recoil (how much the stent shrinks after balloon removal) is calculated. Two sizes were tested. Stent 1-3 are designed to expand to a 16 mm diameter and 21 mm diameter. Stents 4-7 are designed to expand to a 16 mm diameter and 24 mm diameter.
