Standardized trap nests were used for the collection of A. flavomarginatum. Each trap nest consisted of a PVC tube (220 mm×110 mm, length×diameter) filled with 80±10 (SD) reed internodes (Arundo donax) of 20 cm length and diameters varying between 2 and 30 mm. Thus, each trap nest provided approximately 160 cavities for cavity-nesting Hymenoptera to establish nests. Trap nests were arranged in a west-to-east direction and every 50 m from a linear distance set a sampling plot, a total of 104 sampling plots. Traps were exposed in June 2022 and checked monthly for occupied nests until June 2024.
本研究采用标准化诱集巢开展A. flavomarginatum的采集工作。每个诱集巢由一根长220mm、直径110mm的聚氯乙烯(PVC)管构成,管内装填80±10(标准差SD)个长度为20cm、直径介于2~30mm的芦竹(Arundo donax)茎节,据此单个诱集巢可向筑洞栖性膜翅目(Hymenoptera)昆虫提供约160个筑巢洞穴。诱集巢沿东西向布设,沿布设直线每隔50米设置1个样地,共计104个样地。诱集巢于2022年6月完成野外部署,此后每月检查一次已被占据的巢穴,直至2024年6月。
