Online patient-facing resources from UK organisations about prehabilitation before cancer treatment collected July 2024

The following dataset was collected for a project which used discourse
analysis to understand how evidence, motivation and accessibility are
balanced in online patient information resources about prehabilitation.
Databases, search engines and websites (identified by prehabilitation
researchers) were systematically searched for online patient-facing
resources from UK organisations about prehabilitation before cancer
treatment. Searches were conducted between 3/7/24 and 9/7/24. Search
results were screened against predefined eligibility criteria for
inclusion. Discourse analysis was used to interrogate a purposive sample
of the included resources. This dataset comprises the full list of the
online resources which were included after screening (n=68). All the
included resources are publicly available on the internet and do not
require a password protected user account to gain access. The content of
the online resources listed may subsequently be updated or amended
following the current project. Future researchers wishing to replicate
this work should therefore use an archived version of the webpages, dated
to the original project. Description
