Method for connecting box-like structured elements to one another

According to an exemplary aspect of the invention， there is provided a method of joining elements in which two edges of housing elements (16， 17) are provided， each comprising a first surface plate (1)， a second surface plate (4) spaced from the first surface plate (1)， and 5) connecting the first (1) and second (4) surface plates to one another and defining a distance therebetween， wherein the intermediate structure (3， 5) comprises a frame tree (3)， rotating parallel to the edges of the element by joining the surface plates (1， 4) together and wherein at least one groove (9) for each of the elements is provided for the locking wedge (11， 14). In the method， the grooves (9) formed in the frame trees (3) of the elements (16， 17) are aligned， the wedge (11， 14) joining the grooves (9) joining the elements (16， 17) and the edges of the elements (16， 17) away from one another by supplying pressure medium to at least one pressure tightening interval (12， 15).
