Data set: Intercomparison of cloud spectrometers and a holographic probe during the ACTRIS sub-zero in-cloud Campaign at Sonnblick Observatory

This dataset contains the quality-controlled and flagged measurements collected during the ACTRIS Cloud In Situ (ACTRIS-CIS) European Centre for Cloud Ambient Intercomparison (ECCINT-INT01) campaign, conducted at the Sonnblick Observatory, Austria (3,106 m a.s.l.), between 21 November and 3 December 2022. The campaign was designed to compare the performance of multiple ground-based cloud microphysical instruments operating simultaneously under natural sub-zero cloud conditions. The dataset includes measurements from three Fog Monitors (FM-120), three Cloud Droplet Analyzers (CDA), one prototype mini Cloud Droplet Analyzer (mCDA), and the ICEMET Single Particle Holographic Imaging probe, together with supporting meteorological observations. The files contain quality-controlled data, including instrument quality flags indicating periods affected by inlet icing, instrument maintenance, operational issues, and other conditions identified during post-processing. The dataset is intended to support the reproducibility of the accompanying publication, facilitate future intercomparison studies, and provide a reference dataset for evaluating cloud microphysical instrumentation and sampling effects under high-altitude, sub-zero conditions. This dataset accompanies the manuscript entitled "Intercomparison of cloud spectrometers and a holographic probe during the ACTRIS sub-zero in-cloud Campaign at Sonnblick Observatory" and contains the data used in the analyses presented in the publication.
