Mexico: number of children in pre-schools 2015-2024

In the academic year 2023/2024 the number of children enrolled in pre-schools in Mexico amounted to more than 4.24 million, down from the 4.33 million children enrolled a year before. Enrollment in pre-schools in Mexico is mandatory for children between the age of three and six years old.
