The 100-meter-scale vulnerability assessment dataset involving 34 key nodes evaluates flood disaster risks in key regions along the Belt and Road Initiative under extreme precipitation events. It offers decision-making support for local governmental authorities, enables early warnings prior to flood disasters, thereby securing valuable time to implement disaster prevention and mitigation measures, and ultimately reduces the loss of lives and property of local residents caused by flood disasters. This dataset is built upon GDP, population, land use, road network and river network data of the 34 key nodes along the Belt and Road Initiative. By adopting spatial analysis methods in ArcGIS and assigning appropriate weights to each indicator, it constructs and assesses the flood vulnerability of the 34 key nodes under extreme precipitation conditions. The Jenks Natural Breaks Classification method is then utilized to divide the vulnerability into five levels, namely no vulnerability, low vulnerability, moderate vulnerability, high vulnerability and extreme vulnerability.
