Regional Economic Shifts in Ukraine (2021–2024): capital investments, officialy hired employees, and manufacturing shares

This dataset contains regional-level socio-economic indicators for Ukraine, designed for spatial analysis, econometrics, and GIS mapping (e.g., using GeoDa, QGIS, R, or Python). The dataset presents changes in regional capital investments, labour market dynamics, and manufacturing sector comparing 2024 to the pre-war baseline year of 2021. Data Sources & Methodology Primary Source: Raw regional statistics were retrieved from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. Calculations: Growth rates and share changes (deltas) were calculated using standard economic formulas, comparing 2024 values directly against 2021 baseline data.
