Data on the juvenile products of the Upper Pumice eruption on Nisyros (Braschi et al., 2022)

The dataset includes new, original data of the petrology, geochemistry of major and trace elements, isotope-geochemistry of Sr and Nd and mineral chemistry of the pumices and crystal rich clasts associated to the last magmatic explosive eruption on Nisyros Volcano (Greece). Most of the data were acquired at the Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra of Florence and CNR-IGG of Florence and Pisa using a Jeol JXA9600 Electron Microprobe, a Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometer and a Multicollector Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry. The purpose of the dataset is to contribute to improving general knowledge of the Aegean volcanoes magma composition.

本数据集涵盖希腊尼西罗斯火山（Nisyros Volcano）末次岩浆爆发式喷发相关浮石与富晶屑的岩石学、主量与微量元素地球化学、锶（Sr）与钕（Nd）同位素地球化学及矿物化学领域的全新原创数据。绝大多数数据由佛罗伦萨大学地球科学系（Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra）以及佛罗伦萨与比萨的意大利国家研究委员会地球地质研究所（CNR-IGG）测试获取，所用仪器包括日本电子JXA9600型电子探针显微分析仪（Jeol JXA9600 Electron Microprobe）、热电离质谱仪（Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometer）与多接收电感耦合等离子体质谱仪（Multicollector Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry）。本数据集旨在助力学界深化对爱琴海火山岩浆成分的整体认知。
