This dataset is constructed by collecting and analyzing consumption-related data of magnetorheological dampers from regional users across the country. Its objectives include: understanding users' purchasing power and consumption preferences for magnetorheological dampers, evaluating the market popularity of the product, formulating service strategies for all industry users to deliver personalized products and services, assisting enterprises in gaining better insights into their users, and developing precise production and marketing strategies via tiered user communication: high-tier users are contacted 1 to 2 times per month, medium-tier users 1 to 2 times per quarter, and low-tier users 1 to 2 times every six months.
1. Data Collection: Collect quarterly transaction data related to magnetorheological dampers from each user from 2008 to 2025.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and aggregate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analysis.
3. Algorithm-based Processing: Conduct demand analysis on the processed data. The demand index P is calculated as: $P = { (a1 / b1) + (a2 / b2) } * k$, where $a1$ refers to the minimum order quantity per single transaction, $b1$ refers to the minimum consumption amount per single transaction, $a2$ refers to the maximum order quantity per single transaction, $b2$ refers to the maximum consumption amount per single transaction, and $k$ is the consumption coefficient. The value of $k$ varies based on the economic region the user belongs to. The country is divided into four major economic regions: Eastern Region, Northeast Region, Central Region and Western Region. According to empirical values, $k$ is set to 0.7 for the Eastern Region, 0.8 for the Northeast and Central Regions, and 0.9 for the Western Region.
4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide users into "high", "medium" and "low" tiers according to the calculated demand index: users with a score of 1.2 and above are marked as "high-tier", those with a score within the range of 0.8 to 1.2 are marked as "medium-tier", and those with a score of 0.8 and below are marked as "low-tier".
