Sensitivity and specificity of DPP® Fever Panel II Asia in the diagnosis of malaria, dengue and melioidosis

This is a part of prospective observational (non-interventional) study of community-acquired sepsis and severe sepsis in Sunpasithiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, northeast Thailand (NCT02217592). We prospectively enrolled adult patients (age≥18 years) who were admitted with a primary diagnosis of suspected or documented infection made by the attending physician, were within 24 hours of hospital admission, and had at least three sepsis diagnostic criteria documented in the medical record.<br>The manuscript report sensitivity and specificity of DPP® Fever Panel II for malaria, dengue and melioidosis. <br>The data comprises of diagnosis and test results of 618 patients at Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, Thailand. There are two files, the data and the data descriptions.<br>

本数据集源自泰国东北部乌汶叻差他尼省桑帕西提普宋医院（Sunpasithiprasong Hospital）开展的社区获得性脓毒症与重症脓毒症前瞻性观察性（非干预性）研究（临床试验注册号：NCT02217592）。本研究前瞻性纳入年龄≥18岁的成年患者，纳入标准为：经主治医师确诊疑似或已证实感染、入院时间不超过24小时，且病历中至少记录有三项脓毒症诊断标准。
本研究手稿报告了DPP®发热检测试剂盒II（DPP® Fever Panel II）针对疟疾、登革热与类鼻疽的检测灵敏度与特异度。
本数据集包含来自泰国乌汶叻差他尼省桑帕西提普宋医院的618例患者的诊断信息与检测结果，共包含两个文件：数据集本体与数据集说明文档。
