Marine macrozoobenthos data from van Veen grabs and box corers off Namibia from the cruise MSM105 in the year 2022

During the cruise of MSM105 at several stations off Namibia benthic investigations were carried out in January and February 2022. The data contains the abundance, biomass and species number we found during this cruise between 18 and 27°South. The water depths sampled were between 25 and 2060 metres. Methods used: van Veen grab, box corer and multicorer, sieved 1 mm, fixed with formalin and sorted in the laboratory, microscopy, taxonomic identification, counting and weighing of the species

2022年1-2月，研究团队在MSM105科考航次期间，于纳米比亚外海多个站位开展了底栖（benthic）生物调查。本数据集涵盖本次航次在南纬18°至27°海域采集获取的生物丰度、生物量及物种数量。本次调查的采样水深范围为25至2060米。所用研究方法包括：范维恩采泥器（van Veen grab）、箱式采泥器（box corer）与多管采泥器（multicorer）采样；过1毫米孔径筛网筛分；福尔马林溶液固定；实验室分选；光学显微镜镜检；物种分类学鉴定；个体计数与生物量称重。
