The Forward Testing Effect in Spatial Route Learning in Patients with Schizophrenia

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of forward testing on spatial route learning in schizophrenia patients and healthy controls. SPSS 27.0 was used for the data processing of all the experimental results. In data collection, the experimental assistant recorded the scores in the recall process. Each time a building was correctly recalled in the correct order of appearance, one point was recorded, and eight points were recorded for each route information. The correct recall number of subjects in each visuospatial route information was calculated, and then the correct recall rate of each route was calculated. Secondly, the proactive interference rate in the current recall task was calculated. Among them, proactive interference rate is the ratio of the sequence of buildings that appeared in the previous route information when the subjects recall the current route information.
