RNA-Seq study of cartilage tissue regeneration in vivo using a biomimetic 3D scaffold

Analysis of transcriptome changes in rabbit cartilage tissue following surgical induction of critical size defects on knee joints with or without collagen-chondroitin sulphate (CLCS) 3D scaffolds. Total RNA was obtained from cartilage tissue of rabbits that underwent surgical procedures to generate critical size defects in the knee joint. The regenerative effects of a collagen-chondroitin sulphate 3D scaffold were compared to untreated controls.
