资源简介:

The monumental vase is decorated with strips of leaves and braids, and a frieze of fifteen riders. The object is similar to Attic marble funerary vases of the fourth century BC. It contained perhaps originally the remains of the deceased. Found in Pergamum during the reign of Sultan Murad I (1359-1389), it contained two alabaster urns filled with gold which are now kept in Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. This vase however is on display in the Louvre. This object is part of Scan The World. Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free. Scan the World is an open source, community effort, if you have interesting items around you and would like to contribute, email stw@myminifactory.com to find out how you can help.
