SPECTRA: A Traceability Ontology for the 3GPP RAN Standardization Process

SPECTRA is a reusable OWL 2 ontology for the 3GPP Radio Access Network (RAN) document lifecycle. It comprises 26 classes (Tdoc, Resolution, CR, LS, Section, Spec, TechnicalReport, TRImpact, Meeting, Company, WorkingGroup, ...), 53 object properties, and 81 data properties; it reuses Dublin Core, DCTERMS, and FOAF.

This release accompanies a paper submitted to the ISWC 2026 Resources Track. Two-tier release (see LICENSE for the authoritative text):

• SPECTRA-authored components — the ontology, SHACL shapes, PyLODE documentation, SpectraCQ v1.0 (137 CQs), Cypher/SPARQL queries, synthetic and metadata-only examples, validation scripts, and the sanitized parsing pipeline — are released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0).

• Per-WG body-text knowledge graphs bundled in this Zenodo deposit are 3GPP-derived literals that are NOT relicensed as SPECTRA-authored content; they are redistributed with explicit 3GPP source attribution, following the academic redistribution practice established by TSpec-LLM and the GSMA telecom-kg-rel19 release.
