An Epigraphical Corpus of 10 Indus Valley Tablets: Mirror Inversions, Traced Overlays, Dravidian Etymological Dictionary (DEDR) Tamil-Brahmi Glosses and English conceptual meaning

This open-access dataset serves as the primary epigraphical corpus and digital repository supplementing the preprint research article: · Main Publication: Deciphering Indus Valley tablets and seals through the lens of Tamil Brahmi · Primary Publication DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20923774 Overview of ContentsThe dataset contains 21 files providing complete epigraphical transparency for ten (10) targeted Indus Valley civilization tablets. To facilitate objective verification, computational text parsing, and comparative epigraphical analysis, each artifact entry is unpacked into three primary open-science components: Mirror Inversions: High-resolution digital reversals .png of the seals/tablets to correct the original stamp impressions into their intended reading orientation. Traced Sign Overlays: Precision visual line-tracings overlaid directly onto the artifact images to isolate individual glyph strokes, character boundaries, and ligature variants. Linguistic Concordance Mapping: Isolated, word-by-word transliterations and semantic breakdowns mapping the identified logo syllabic characters directly to corresponding entries in the Dravidian Etymological Dictionary (DEDR) by Burrow and Emeneau.
