KARHU - Training datasets

KARHU v1.0.0 This dataset consists of 15 742 equilibria and ideal MHD stability evaluations. The dataset generation process is described in the related publication [A. Bruncrona, PoP (2025)]. One equilbrium consists of the pressure profile p the safety factor profile q_s, the diamagnetic profile RB_phi, the shape of the top half of the boundary and two scalars, the field and the radius at the magnetic axis, B_mag and R_mag. The data is saved as numpy arrays. Ideal MHD stability evaluations were done for many toroidal mode numbers per equilibrium, but this data set only contains information on the most unstable mode (the maximum growthate over Ntors). File descriptions: cs.npy (shape (64,)): the psi-axis values for the p, q_s and RBphi p0.npy (shape (15742, 64)): pressure profiles qs.npy (shape (15742, 64)): safety factor profiles rbphi.npy (shape (15742, 64)): diamagnetic profiles vxvy.npy (shape (15742, 2, 64)): boundary shape of the top half of the plasma in cartesian coordinates meta.npy (shape (15742, 7)): max growthrate, Ntor corresponding to max growthrate,pedestal width,R_vac, B_vac, R_mag, B_mag
