Reproducibility data and code for defect closure versus non-closure during laparo-endoscopic repair of direct inguinal hernia: an updated systematic review and meta-analysis
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the public-safe reproducibility data and analysis code supporting the systematic review and meta-analysis, “Defect closure versus non-closure during laparo-endoscopic repair of direct inguinal hernia: an updated systematic review and meta-analysis” (PROSPERO CRD420261476492). The archive includes the frozen 48-row Category A analytic input used for the definitive meta-analysis; study-level effects and aggregate result tables; final PRISMA counts; risk-of-bias and GRADE derivatives; selected R and Python analysis scripts; software-session information; figure/table provenance mappings; and publication-ready derivative figures. The evidence-selection flow comprised 1,521 source records, 854 deduplicated records, 16 included reports, and 15 unique studies. The registered primary outcome was seroma detected 8–30 days after surgery. Its pooled estimate remained uncertain (risk ratio 0.28, 95% confidence interval 0.05–1.72; very-low-certainty evidence). The materials do not support claims of superiority, recurrence reduction, equivalence, or routine-practice adoption. This derived-data reproducibility package supports rerunning the final aggregate meta-analysis from the frozen analytic input and auditing the final figures and tables. It does not provide end-to-end public reproduction of database searching or full-text screening.
