Data for: Discovery of a Lunar Cold Spot at Apollo 16's South Ray Crater

This directory contains Diviner Lunar Radiometer brightness temperature (channels 3-8) and derived bolometric temperature data for the South Ray crater and Bandfield crater cold spots. The data is gridded at 128 pixels-per-degree and in 0.125 lunar hour local time intervals. For each location, data is stored in both MATLAB and HDF5 formats. Each file contains the following variables: tb3 to tb8: [K] Diviner brightness temperatures for channels 3 through 8 (3D arrays: latitude × longitude × local time) tbol: [K] Derived bolometric temperature (3D array) lat, lon: [degrees] Latitude and longitude (2D arrays) localtime: [lunar hours] Local time (1D vector)
