Yarrow Point Orientation Instrument Deployed 2019-10-30

The RM Young Electronic Compass 32500-56 CI 2525 was deployed on 2019-10-30 at Yarrow Point. Yarrow Point is located in the Saanich Inlet, north of Coles Bay. This device is a Orientation Instrument. Orientation instruments are used on ships, ROVs and instrument packages to record variables like heading, pitch and roll. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
