报春花科点地梅属多年生垫状草本。轮廓为不规则的半圆球形。花顶生，埋藏在莲座丛中，白色或粉红色，直径约5㎝，喉部紫红色。花期7～8月。 耐干寒、瘠薄。中国特有植物。西藏广布，多生于海拔4000～5000m的山坡裸地。西北、西南地区也产。
Perennial cushion herb belonging to the genus *Androsace* in the family Primulaceae. It has an irregular hemispherical outline. Flowers are terminal, concealed within the rosettes, white or pink, approximately 5 cm in diameter, with a purplish-red throat. The flowering period spans from July to August. It tolerates drought, cold and barren soils. It is endemic to China, widely distributed in Tibet, mostly growing on bare mountain slopes at altitudes of 4000–5000 m. It also occurs in Northwest and Southwest China.
