This dataset includes two parts of statistical data. The first part is the regional output data of major forestry industries and forest chemical products in 2001, extracted from the statistical materials of the China Forestry Development Report 2002, covering information such as regions, timber, bamboo timber, sawn timber, wood-based panels, plywood, fiberboard, particleboard, rosin, tannin extract, shellac and serial number. The second part is the statistical data reflecting the development status of China's forestry industry in 2001, covering aspects such as forestry production, afforestation, forest products, forest pest, rodent and disease control, key project investment and forest resource status. The specific contents are as follows: 1. Import and export value of major forest products from 1993 to 2001; 2. Import and export volume of major forest products from 1993 to 2001; 3. Afforestation area classified by afforestation method and forest category in each region in 2001; 4. Total output value of forestry industry in each region in 2001; 5. Actual completed investment of key forestry projects in each region in 2001; 6. Afforestation area completed by key forestry projects in each region in 2001; 7. Prevention and control status of forest pests, rodents and diseases in each region in 2001.
