A further step in the understanfing of Radio-Loud Narrow-line Seyfert 1

The fraction of radioloud (RL) objects in the narrowline Seyfert 1s (NLSy1)population is very small. RL NLSy1 exhibit typical features of blazars in radio:the extreme cases have been recently detected in gammaray. Only few RL NLSy1sare characterized in Xray to date, and it is not clear whether their Xrayspectra are dominated by the jet contribution or not. Here we propose to obtainthe quasisimultaneous radio/optical/Xray/gammaray spectrum of a sample of 4very RL (R > 100) NLSy1s for a total observing time of 180 ksec. These sourceswere selected according their radio loudness and their radio spectral index.Recognizing our targets as blazarlike will support the hypothesis that theyrepresent a new class of blazars instead of the lowpower tail of RL AGNs. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
