This dataset contains the extended supplemental materials supporting the investigation of Wolfram syndrome type 2 (WS2) associated with the CISD2 founder mutation c.109G>C. The uploaded file provides comprehensive transmission electron microscopy (TEM) imaging of mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum structures for all patient-derived fibroblast lines (Figure S1), alongside quantitative fluorescence analysis of mitochondrial membrane potential recovery across different treatments (Figure S2). It also includes schematics detailing the predicted intracellular degradation of the truncated NAF-1 protein (Figure S3) and detailed pre- and post-treatment pilot clinical trial outcomes—including HbA1c and platelet aggregation results—for two patients (Figure S4).
