VPRS 11054 Mining Warden's Register, Foster

The Gold Fields Act 1857 and subsequent mining legislation required Mining Wardens (in their judicial function) to keep a record of all decisions and orders made. The Mining Warden's Register records details of each case including the case number, the date of the complaint, the names and addresses of the complainant(s) and defendant(s), the nature of the complaint and the value or amount sought and the decision and signature of the Warden.

1857年《金矿场法案》（Gold Fields Act 1857）及后续出台的矿业立法规定，采矿监管员（Mining Wardens）在行使司法职能时，需留存所有作出的裁决与命令的记录。采矿监管员登记册（Mining Warden's Register）收录了每起案件的详细信息，涵盖案件编号、投诉日期、投诉人与被告人的姓名及住址、投诉事由、诉求标的额，以及监管员的裁决与签名。
