Prepupal Loss of Mass Dataset.

This dataset shows the loss of mass that individual hornworm larvae undergo during their prepupal phase in the life cycle. Ten individual larvae were selected and weighed at the end of their fifth instar, which was depicted as ‘Starting Mass’. Each individual was then weighed at various time points over the course of five to eight days, and the weight was divided by the original starting mass to determine the ratio of relative mass lost throughout this phase.
