①This dataset contains news and Weibo comments about online privacy from September 2011 to November 2019 on the Sina Weibo platform, crawled by the Octopus Collector. ②Only news with more than 10 comments will be included in our scope.<br>③These news are mainly about Internet companies collecting user privacy, social network privacy and other aspects, excluding news due to hacking, online scams, human flesh search and so on.<br>④These comments were searched on Weibo with news as the key word, and crawled the comments below the retrieved Weibo.<br>⑤The retrieval process is recorded in Chinese in index.xlsx, including classification, news title, start and end time, estimated number of comments, and search keywords.

①本数据集包含2011年9月至2019年11月期间，新浪微博（Sina Weibo）平台上与网络隐私相关的新闻及微博评论，数据由八爪鱼采集器（Octopus Collector）爬取获取。②本数据集仅纳入评论量达10条以上的新闻内容。③所收录的新闻主要围绕互联网企业用户隐私收集、社交网络隐私保护等议题，不含涉及黑客攻击、网络诈骗、人肉搜索等相关内容的新闻。④评论部分以对应新闻为关键词在微博平台检索得到，并爬取了检索结果微博下的评论内容。⑤检索流程的中文记录文件为index.xlsx，其中包含分类信息、新闻标题、起止时间、预估评论数及检索关键词等内容。
