Dataset Quality of Public Construction Project Designs in Ecuador

The database in the repository contains a unique identification for each public construction project in Ecuador. For each project, cost deviation and schedule deviation have been calculated based on data extracted from the Official Public Procurement System (SOCE). These deviations provide key insights into the quality of project designs and their execution. This information serves as a valuable resource for enhancing public procurement practices and optimizing resource allocation in future projects.

本仓库内置的数据库为厄瓜多尔境内所有公共建筑工程分配了唯一识别编号。针对每一项工程，研究人员基于从官方公共采购系统（Official Public Procurement System, SOCE）提取的原始数据，计算得到其成本偏差与进度偏差。上述两类偏差可为研判工程设计与执行环节的质量提供关键洞见。该数据集可作为优化未来公共采购实践、合理配置资源的宝贵参考依据。
