Multilayer film comprising microfibrillated cellulose and a method of manufacturing a multilayer film

The invention relates to a multilayer， oxygen barrier film comprising:- a first layer (1) comprising at least 80 % by weight of microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) as calculated on the total solid content of said layer，- a second layer (2) comprising a polymer and optionally pigments， and - a third layer (3) comprising at least 40 %， preferably at least 50 %， by weight of chemically modified microfibrillated cellulose as calculated on the total solid content of said layer.The multilayer film of the invention has shown to provide excellent gas barrier properties， especially oxygen barrier properties， also at high humidity and also good strength properties.

本发明涉及一种多层阻氧膜，包含：
- 第一层(1)：以该层总固体含量计，至少80重量%为微纤化纤维素（microfibrillated cellulose，MFC）；
- 第二层(2)：包含聚合物以及任选的颜料；
- 第三层(3)：以该层总固体含量计，至少40重量%（优选至少50重量%）为化学改性微纤化纤维素。
本发明的多层膜已被证实可提供优异的气体阻隔性能，尤其是阻氧性能，即便在高湿度环境下仍具备良好的力学强度性能。
