2010 The Marine Biological Association of the UK (MBA) Mothecombe Bioblitz Survey

Bioblitz survey taking place at Mothecombe, Devon. Organised and run by the Marine Biological Association (MBA) in Plymouth, annual Bioblitz surveys take place in/around Plymouth (sites in Devon and Cornwall). These surveys aim to record as many species as possible as being present within a set survey area over 24-hours. A variety of different methods were employed, including times-species searches, plankton netting, Seine-netting, Pond-dipping with nets, mammal trapping, walkovers, push-netting, grab/core, transect/quadrat, and including Dive and snorkel surveys, although most records were ad-hoc sightings made during the 24 hour survey.

本次生物快速普查（Bioblitz survey）在德文郡莫瑟科姆（Mothecombe）开展。该年度生物快速普查活动由普利茅斯海洋生物协会（Marine Biological Association, MBA）组织筹办，调查范围覆盖普利茅斯市及其周边区域（包含德文郡与康沃尔郡的多个样地）。此类调查的核心目标为：在24小时的周期内，尽可能全面记录设定调查区域内存在的所有物种。本次调查采用了多种采样与调查手段，包括定点物种搜索、浮游生物拖网采样、围网捕捞、池塘网采、小型兽类诱捕、步道遍历调查、推网采样、抓斗/岩芯采样、样带/样方调查，以及潜水与浮潜调查；不过绝大多数观测记录均为24小时调查期间的临时偶遇观测。
