This data set was acquired with a Reson SeaBat 7125 Multibeam Sonar on AUV Sentry during R/V Falkor expedition FK171110 conducted in 2017 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Kenneth Rubin, Investigators: Susan G. Merle, Dr. William Chadwick, Dr. Kenneth Rubin). These data files are bathymetric maps in Geotiff format and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Underwater Fire: Studying the submarine volcanoes of Tonga; Temporal/spatial scales of mantle wedge composition and processes investigated with young boninites and basalts from the unusually active NE Lau Basin. Ship time was provided by Schmidt Ocean Institute and additional funding was provided by NSF Award(s): OCE15-38121.
本数据集由搭载于自主水下航行器(Autonomous Underwater Vehicle,AUV)Sentry的Reson SeaBat 7125多波束声呐采集,采集工作于2017年开展的FK171110航次中完成,本次航次的搭载母船为Falkor号科考船,首席科学家为Kenneth Rubin博士,参与研究人员包括Susan G.
