Ground-based ice-penetrating radar data acquired during the 2001-2001
US ITASE traverse from Byrd Surface Camp to near the head of Pine
Island Glacier. Aproximately 1800 Km of impulse radar data at a
center frequency of ~3 MHz depicting internal layers and ice thickness
over the traverse. Data density is approximately 20 meters per
acquired waveform. Surface elevations from GPS measurements were
acquired by Blue and Hamilton along the route and will later be
merged with the radar data to give bedrock topography.
