Source texts of the corpus for the "Metaphorical conceptualization of gender in stand-up comedy" Project

This project is funded by the National Science Centre (Poland) research grant no. 2022/45/N/HS2/01394.

The uploaded dataset is a compilation of source texts for the corpus of stand-up comedy shows texts which served as a basis for metaphor identification process in the subsequent stages of the project.

The file consists of 30 transcriptions of shows published on YouTube 2018-2022.

17 shows are performed by male comedians while 13 are performed by women.
