The research objective was studying the DNA binding properties of archaeal histones MJ1647 and A3 from Methanocaldococcus jannaschii. We've studied this with tethered particle motion (TPM) and a quantitative DNA bridging assay. This dataset contains the raw data of obtained root mean squared displacement (TPM), end-to-end distances (TPM) and percentage DNA recovery (DNA bridging assay).

本研究的目标为探究詹氏甲烷球菌(Methanocaldococcus jannaschii)来源的古菌组蛋白(archaeal histones)MJ1647与A3的DNA结合特性。本研究采用拴系粒子运动(tethered particle motion,TPM)与定量DNA桥接实验开展相关研究。本数据集包含拴系粒子运动实验所得的均方根位移、末端到末端距离的原始数据,以及DNA桥接实验所得的DNA回收率的原始数据。
