Morecambe Study, 1973: Non-Holiday Makers Survey

<B>Main Topics</B>:<BR><br>Way in which respondent would spend an unexpected sum of money, whether would spend it on a holiday, if so - amount would spend per person, type of holiday. Whether took a holiday away from home of 4 nights or more during current year, where spent, whether would like to return, year in which last took holiday of 4 nights or more, where spent, length of stay, type of accommodation, form of transport used. Reasons for not taking a holiday during current year (e.g. bought new car/house, ill health), likelihood of taking holiday in coming year, intended location, amount would expect to spend per person for one week, intended accommodation, transport. Ease/difficulty of booking foreign holiday/British holidays (reasons), knowledge of resorts in vicinity, possibility of ever visiting Morecambe, reasons would not choose Morecambe, amount would expect to spend per person for one week in Morecambe. Respondents were asked to agree/disagree with a series of statements regarding holiday preferences.<br>
