This study primarily investigates the application of aramid nanofiber (ANF)-based hydrogels in solar-driven seawater desalination. Initially, we developed a hybrid aramid fiber-polypyrrole network utilizing a template effect to achieve a low percolation threshold, followed by systematic characterization of its mechanical and electrical properties. Subsequently, by precisely modulating the ANF content within the hydrogel matrix, we achieved tailored microstructural control of the hydrogel. This engineered hybrid hydrogel served as a versatile platform to elucidate the structure-performance relationship in solar desalination applications.
