CA has excellent anticancer activity against many tumor cells in vitro. It can significantly inhibited the growth of mouse melanoma B16F10 cells with IC50 less than 0.1 micromole. Therefore, transcript studies were conducted to reveal the possible anticancer mechanisms or targets of CA against tumor cells, especially murine melanoma cells.
