Dataset from Clinical Trial of Low-Dose Aspirin to Prevent Preeclampsia in High Risk Women

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to examine whether daily administration of 60 mg of aspirin beginning at 13 to 26 weeks gestation will decrease the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women at high risk for developing the disease. High risk women enrolled were those with chronic hypertension, insulin-dependent diabetes, past history of preeclampsia, or multifetal pregnancy.
