This data set includes newly measured Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf and U-Th isotope compositions for fresh axial basalts from the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, 24-30 ºN. The samples were collected during leg 207/2 (2012) of the R/V Knorr (C. Langmuir, J. Escartin chief scientists), by seafloor dredge and wax core. All samples were handpicked for fresh, unaltered glass and dissolved at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and analyzed by NeptunePlus MC-ICP-MS at the University of Wyoming. Preliminary results indicate both a gradual along-axis geochemical variation and additional local variations in basalt isotope compositions.
