Potrero Canyon Site Investigation and Laboratory Test Results

This project contains the raw data presented in Dahl’s (2011) dissertation. The aim was to characterize two strata within a recent Holocene alluvial deposit of silt and clay in Potrero Canyon in detail. Stratum A is predominantly very soft clay and very loose silt, with plasticity indices ranging from 5 to 27, whereas Stratum B is predominantly very loose silty sand and sandy silt, with plasticity indices ranging from 0 to 10. The raw data from cyclic, monotonic, and consolidation tests on the collected samples from these strata are presented in this project. Moreover, the raw data from two co-located CPTs are also included.
