This series is Travel warrants for Kamballa.The series is duplicate copies of warrants issued to officers or resident for travel purposes. According to the instructions in the cover of the booklet 'The original warrants would be presented in exchange for tickets to a Railway Booking Office or the New South Wales Government Travel Centre before commencement of journey.'The information recorded on the warrants includes the following: Name of officer or resident, ticket type (railway, airline), travel from and destination, date of travel, authority for issue and signature of authorising officer. If an officer is escorting a resident the name of the resident is recorded at the bottom of the warrant.The warrants are arranged by receipt number and run in a chronological order.
