"Bilder von der bemalten Hüttenwand." ("Pictures painted on the wall of the hut."). Geometric figures and an animal that looks like a cow. Written on the wall in Swahili: "Nyati" ("Cape buffalo").; Cf. photo nos. 10335, 10336, 10337 and 10338. -- Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
