Raw Data_ The Relationship between Weight Stigma and Physical Activity Avoidance among College Students

The dataset, "Raw Data_ The Relationship between Weight Stigma and Physical Activity Avoidance among College Students," was collected from students at several universities in China using the online survey platform Questionnaire Star (www.wjx.cn). A total of 576 valid questionnaires were obtained after excluding invalid responses. The study focused on key psychological factors related to physical activity avoidance, including weight stigma, body image dissatisfaction, and psychological resilience. Based on a chain mediation model, this dataset was used to examine how weight stigma is related to physical activity avoidance, with body image dissatisfaction and psychological resilience as sequential mediators, providing empirical evidence for understanding college students’ exercise behavior and informing interventions to promote physical and psychological well-being.
