A one-story adobe building is pictured at center, a walkway leading up to its arched entranceway where two men in monk's habits are pictured standing. A building that appears to be the mission church stands in the left background in front of a mountain peak. Wrought-iron fence is also visible to the left. Handwriting along the bottom of the image reads "Attended by Rouseel & Mestres". The painting appears to be watercolor.
