Home Movies Collection

Straight from homes from Australia and overseas and preserved at ACMI, these home movies provide a snapshot of everyday life and a walk down memory lane. Over 50 works by all sorts of people, from budding film-makers to train enthusiasts, ranging from the 1920s to 1990s. Mostly digitised, these works were originally shot on 8mm, super 8mm and 16mm film stock, but available to view on video and DVD.

这批家庭电影源自澳大利亚及海外的民间家庭，由澳大利亚影视与媒体艺术中心（ACMI）馆藏，它们既定格了日常市井生活的缩影，亦带领观者重温往昔记忆。馆藏作品共计50余部，创作者涵盖初出茅庐的电影制作者与火车爱好者，创作时间跨度从1920年代直至1990年代。其中大部分已完成数字化处理，该批作品最初采用8mm、超8mm及16mm胶片拍摄，目前可通过视频及DVD形式观看。
