This series consists of booklets about individual government schools in New South Wales as well as a small number of school magazines and year books.Many of the booklets were created to mark a particular event such as a centenary or other anniversary. The booklets usually contain a history of the school and locality, while some items container broader information about local families and identities including historical photographs.The school magazines and year books contain information about the school and its students in the year of publication, including class photographs and student achievements.The records were transferred to State Archives from the Department of Education's History Unit and are arranged alphabetically by school name.(1) Where the author's name is known it is included in brackets in the item title.Endnote:1.
