Serial section series of Gigantidas childressi metamorphosis (M102)

Serial section series of a symbiotic Gigantidas childressi plantigrade. The mussel was sampled at the Mississippi Canyon 853 (28.123 N; -89.139 E) at 1071 m water depth in 2015. The mussel was fixed with 2.5% glutaraldehyde stored in PHEM-buffer. Sections (1.5 µm section thickness) were stained with toluidine blue.

共生型奇尔德雷斯巨贻贝（Gigantidas childressi）匍匐幼体的连续切片系列。该贻贝于2015年采自密西西比峡谷853号站位（北纬28.123°；西经89.139°），采样水深1071米。样本以溶于PHEM缓冲液的2.5%戊二醛固定，切片厚度为1.5微米，经甲苯胺蓝染色。
