Annual change rate of carbon emission intensity is calculated through formulas using the enterprises' emission intensity data from the most recent two years. A negative change indicates a decline in the enterprise's carbon emission intensity, meaning its production has become more environmentally friendly; a positive change means an increase in carbon emission intensity, requiring enhanced carbon emission management and control as well as energy conservation and emission reduction efforts.
